I've provided this page as a resource to help you with various aspects of managing a website and e-commerce business. Essentially every website is a marketing tool, which means that you have something you need to market. I will list information as I discover it. 

Wanna Make Some Money ?

Affiliate Programs- Affiliate programs are a great way to make some money. Each program has it's own rules and different payout structure. In a nutshell you sign up to an affiliate program to sell products for someone else for a percentage. The percentage varies 15% 20% 30%. The key to making money with an affiliate program is a to make sure you are signing up with a company that has a legitimate program. Every program offers different tools to help you make money but each program MUST provide you with a unique tracking code. This tracking code is how you make money. Every affiliate has a different tracking code so two different people can not make money from the same code.  

Some affiliate programs also offer you tools to create an affiliate website and/ or they provide you with promotional banners, promotional photo's, promotional videos and code generators. Did you notice every promotional tool I mentioned was web based ? 

Let me be honest with you,  affiliate programs are free but you still need to have your own website. An affiliate program may reject you if you don't enter a link to a website that is generating some web traffic significant enough to make consistent sales.

Amazon- Amazon.com no longer accepts or pays Illinois affiliates but there are others sites to consider. Overstock is one of them. 

Overstock- I am in the process of learning about the overstock affiliate program. Honestly, I've only been on the website about five different times. I was really stuck on Amazon.com

Sex Toys- This is actually the first affiliate program that I ever signed up for and yes it does pay. 
How much money you make with this program depends on how much time and effort you put into selling their products. There are so many ideas, such as toy parties, youtube demonstration videos, and of course you could also consider selling wholesale to some local stores. That is if you can beat the price of their current supplier. If you already have a website with some adult related topics then this may really help you rack in some extra cash.
